Alone though I appear

They are still beside me.

Memories possess their faces-

they will forever guide me.

And as I fall they kiss me-

and I know they will not be forgotten

For they lift me with their wings-

before I hit the bottom.

It is then that I realize-

I will never walk alone as long as their love nurtures in

my heart and kindness finds a home.
